Create an arrangement for an entry hall table, using fresh or dried
material.
Horticulture:
Fall harvest. The biggest, boldest, or tastiest varieties from your
kitchen garden.
November:
(Committee Judging)
Artistic Design:
A line design using branches, and only one flower
Horticulture:
Wintering over. Bring a plant that thrives outdoors in the summer, but is
brought in for the winter.
December:
(Popular Vote)
Artistic Design:
Decorate a hostess gift (cookie tin, wine bottle, homemade bread, etc.)
using fresh materials. Accessories and ribbon are allowed.
Horticulture:
Display three evergreens or berried branches, tied as a swag.
February:
(No judging)
Artistic Design:
Posies-to-Go: create a small valentine arrangment in a basket to donate
to the Suffield Meals on Wheels recipients.
Horticulture:
Bring in the topiary you created at our October workshop or another
you've been nurturing.
March:
(Committee Judging)
Artistic Design:
Do something dramatic. Be bold with color
Horticulture:
Time to check the progress of the terrariums we started in January.
Or if you missed that workshop, bring in a potted arrangement of
three or more plants.
April:
(Popular Vote)
Artistic Design:
An arrangement of roses in an antique container (vase or other).
Horticulture:
A spring branch, forced or ready to burst.
May:

Artistic Design:
A green and white arrangement. Use foilage of varying colors and
contrasts, from evergreens, perennials, annuals or tropicals.
Horticulture:
Do you love orchids? Bring in your best to show.
